Undie Sunday returns

January 14th and 21st “Undie Sunday” returns.  Please bring children’s sized underwear (Kindergarten through 6th grade appropriate sizes), drawstring sweatpants or drawstring long athletic shorts on that Sunday. These will be delivered to the grade school to be used when “accidents” happen there. Last year’s Undie Sunday was a huge success!  We are told that this year sweatpants and athletic shorts are most needed. Bring those “Roos”.

It’s Scholarship Time

It is time to start thinking about college scholarships again. St Paul’s Scholarship applications will be available online through the webpage and in the church office starting January 16. The Deadline for applications will be April 2. They must be printed and turned into the church office by the end of business that day.  Scholarship Link (2 pages)

Helping hands

A new group will begin in this month.

Helping Hands will have our first meeting from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, in the Education Building.

We will be doing service projects and the group is open to everyone. If you wish you may bring a snack to share. Questions may be directed to Lauren Ice (765-317-7363).

Treasures of Time

The “Treasures of Time” reunion cookbooks have arrived at St Paul’s.  They are available before and after church and at the church office for only $15.00.  You may also pick them up at The Rushville Pharmacy.  This cookbook is a collection of 623 recipes from 1924 to today.  See familiar and new names from the times and tasty recipes to try.  These will make great Christmas presents, shower or wedding gifts or gifts “just because”.  Don’t wait to get yours and a few extras.  Money raised will go to support different areas of worship at St Paul’s United Methodist Church. Checks should be written out to St Paul’s with cookbook written in the memo line.
