Confirmation Classes to Start

Confirmation classes for grades 5 through 12 will start February 18th.  If interested in being confirmed please let Pastor Roy know or the church office so that information can be shared with you and your family.  Classes will begin on February 18th and end March 18th.  Confirmands will be recognized on Easter Sunday, April 1st.

Every where you go…

Everywhere you go there are logos that tell you or remind you that something is produced by, supported by, owned by, or sold by an individual or group.  Branding is an important part of our world.  The United Methodist Church is no different.  We brand our “product” with the Cross and the flame, but there is more.  Do you know the history of our “logo”?  Read this article and learn more.  The Cross & the Flame

It’s Scholarship Time

It is time to start thinking about college scholarships again. St Paul’s Scholarship applications will be available online through the webpage and in the church office starting January 16. The Deadline for applications will be April 2. They must be printed and turned into the church office by the end of business that day.  Scholarship Link (2 pages)


Helping hands

A new group has begun in this month.

Helping Hands next meeting from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17th, in the Education Building.

We will be doing service projects and the group is open to everyone. If you wish you may bring a snack to share. Questions may be directed to Lauren Ice (765-317-7363).

Treasures of Time

COOKBOOKS~Everyone needs one!
Get your  “Treasures of Time” reunion cookbooks at St Paul’s.  They are available before and after church and at the church office for only $15.00.  You may also pick them up at The Rushville Pharmacy and The Payne Agency.  This cookbook is a collection of 623 recipes from 1924 to today.  See familiar and new names from the times and tasty recipes to try.  These will make great gifts, shower or wedding gifts or gifts “just because”.  Don’t wait to get yours and a few extras.  Money raised will go to support different areas of worship at St Paul’s United Methodist Church. Checks should be written out to St Paul’s with cookbook written in the memo line.
